Location
Astro Leo is inspired by space travel and the amazing planets and stars we have in our solar system within the Milky Way galaxy.
On one side, you’ll find the constellation ‘Leo’, which is one of the largest constellations and is a sign of the zodiac, located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. At the bottom of the constellation, you’ll find Regulus – the brightest star in the constellation, which takes its name from the Latin for ‘Little King’.
When it gets dark, be sure to look to the skies and see which stars you can spot!
The artist
Charlotte Mason
Charlotte Mason is a designer and illustrator based in Wigan, in the North West. She studied BA Hons Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern design at Leeds Art University and has worked as an in-house designer in the greeting card industry, creating cards and paper products for well-known retailers.
She enjoys experimenting with various styles and mediums, but feels most at home when painting. Her work is known for its detailed and intricate style, often featuring designs that tell a story.
