By Mundella Primary School.
The children of Mundella Primary School have designed a lion cub inspired by Sheffield’s history of steel. When we think of iron, we think of words like strong and protective – just like a lion!
We wanted our design to represent the steelmaking process and honour historic figures – such as Henry Bessemer – and landmarks like Forgemasters, using themes of fire and the colour silver.
Forged from Fire is as strong and powerful as iron, and as the people of our beloved city.
