On her body, you’ll find loop-like designs which represent the journeys we might find ourselves on – packed with twists, turns and choices that make life an adventure!
By mixing unique shapes and bright colours, she celebrates diversity and inclusivity, demonstrating that our differences are beautiful and that we all have our place in this world.
The artist
Samantha Groom
Samantha Groom is a Sheffield based artist and printmaker who creates vibrant, bold and playful one-off abstract relief prints and illustrative collages onto paper, fabric and wood. Her work is inspired by process and play, memories and imagery of childhood and the desire to bring optimism and joy to the viewer.
She has exhibited widely in group and solo exhibitions, has twice won the Derbyshire open art printmaking prize and regularly runs printmaking workshops throughout Yorkshire and the North of England.
