Inspired by a life-long love of birds, plants and nature, artist Christy Johnson brings the sights and sounds from her nature walks to her design.
Found within the design are some of Britain’s unique and diverse birds, with feathered friends hiding amongst the autumnal foliage throughout the lion’s mighty mane and body.

The artist
Christy Johnson
Christy is an illustrator based in Worcester, West Midlands. Since a young age, she has always had a pencil in her hand and has fond memories of drawing birds and flowers found in her Nan’s garden. As her career has progressed, she has loved being able to capture themes of nature and the surrounding world into her work.
In her 8 years as an artist, she has had the opportunity to work with clients all over the globe, working on projects ranging from Editorial, product design, children’s books, theatre sets and more. With a love of bright colour palettes and bold designs, Christy loves to experiment with her style and how she can adapt to new projects.Â
