This vibrant lion cub is created by pupils of Kilnhurst Primary School. Bold colours and patterns reflect the red and black uniform we wear and our school logo expresses a sense of belonging.
The floral designs found on the tail are inspired by Frida Kahlo and flowing blue swirls echo the River Don.
Rainbow legs and bright spots symbolise inclusivity while a Yorkshire rose and local map celebrate place and identity.
