Fahari the lion cub was lovingly created by the children of Manor Lodge Community Primary School, including pupils from our Integrated Resource Provision (the Pride), where this cub will eventually find its forever home!
The name Fahari is of Swahili origin and means “pride” or “glory.” Each handprint on the cub symbolises the unity and support that define our school community, and the rainbow palette celebrates the rich diversity that makes our school special.
The children are very proud to be taking part in Pride of Yorkshire, and to be supporting an amazing cause.
