Soaring with Pride

By Marlcliffe Community Primary School.

This collaborative sculpture was designed by children from across our school, who created designs based on what makes them proud of their local area, city and county from sports and food, to our rich heritage and landscapes.

Working with local artist and former pupil, Luke Horton, we have created a vibrant collage which reflects our community identity. Soaring above it all is our school’s dragon emblem, which celebrates the pride many children feel in belonging to Marlcliffe and being part of its strong, supportive community.
