SilverSprig is inspired by the natural, cultural and industrial identity of Yorkshire.
The design – created by Megan Hughes – draws on the region’s rolling fields, the exotic plant life found in the Winter Gardens and the architectural character of the building.
These organic motifs are contrasted with symbols of local heritage, including the Yorkshire Rose, mechanical cogs and stylised smoke.
Silver reflects the tones that appear as the Winter Garden’s timber arches age, and Sprig represents the diverse plant species found inside!
