Pride of Yorkshire will transform Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham into a giant free art trail from 8 June 2026. 150 life sized lion and lioness sculptures, designed by artists from across the UK, will appear across South Yorkshire for one unforgettable summer.
Pride of Yorkshire is a fundraising campaign by Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

What will Pride of Yorkshire fund?
Following in the paw prints of the Bears of Sheffield (2021) and the Herd of Sheffield (2016), Pride of Yorkshire will have a mighty impact at Sheffield Children’s. Aiming to raise 2.8 million, this roar-some campaign will directly contribute to the transformation of the Emergency Department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
