The beech tree is known as the Queen of the Forest; a majestic and family-oriented tree that protects its young and shares resources with its neighbours in the forest.
Beech leaves are artist James Brunt’s favourites to create with when autumn comes around, providing colour, inspiration, opportunity and joy!

James Brunt
James Brunt is a leading artist in the emerging genre of Land Art. In the last 10 years of dedicating his life to creating and working outside. He has developed a huge audience and is sought after for his workshops in both schools and community settings across the UK.
James published his first book ‘Land Art: Creating Artworks in and Within the Landscape’ in 2023, reimagined the ITV ident for the ITV creates project and has collected several awards for large-scale works as part of a collective.
