The flowing lines of this sculpture take you on a journey through the city and its foodie favourites, each one bolder and more Hendo’s-covered than the last.
The lines lead us back to the dinner table, proving that our deepest connections are often found over a plate licked clean.
The artist
PAPERFACE
PAPERFACE (also known as Abi Langridge) is an award-winning illustrator currently living and working in Yorkshire, UK. She has worked on a range of commissions across the creative industry including editorial, branding, publishing, children’s literature and animation projects.
Combining both analogue and digital techniques, Abi’s illustration practice concentrates on distilling the message and emotion of a piece and is often inspired by a love of the simple shapes, impactful compositions and attention to detail.Â
Abi received a degree in graphic design from Leeds University, before working in London and New York, later returning to the UK and settling in Yorkshire.
