Lena the Lion Cub

Lena the Lion Cub is focussed on total inclusivity and was created by every student in our SEND setting to give back to Sheffield Children’s.

By contributing their unique hand and fingerprints, each student literally made their mark on the project. Lena is dressed in every colour of the rainbow, and serves as a vibrant symbol of acceptance, love and the diverse community we represent.

In a final touch of personal significance, Lena is named after one of our students who lives with a severely complex and life-limiting health condition – anchoring the design in the very real stories of the children we support.
