From iconic and historic places, to some proper good Barnsley chitchat – this lioness is Barnsley through and through. From Cannon Hall to Barnsley College, Wentworth Castle to Locke Park, to the regenerated town centre and more, there’s so much to celebrate about Barnsley.

Josephine Dellow
Josephine Dellow is an illustrator, writer and comic creator born in Barnsley, and now living in Sheffield.
She loves writing and illustrating stories for children, inspired by childhood memories, animals, smooth paper, nice pens and things that make her laugh.
Josephine runs her own retail brand selling prints and illustrated gifts online and through stockists. She makes lots of art inspired by architecture and her surroundings in Yorkshire, and likes to add humour to the range through her comics and activity books.

Jack receives treatment at Sheffield Children’s for his lifelong condition, Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease).
