Here, black-and-white dazzle camouflage is reimagined through artist Andy Welland’s Loose Ends graphic language. Collaged shapes wrap the lioness’s form as she sets off on her next adventure, bravely taking a step towards something new.
Fierce yet playful, this lioness transforms disruptive camouflage into a proud armour of courage that stands tall, and roars wildly for all to hear.

Andy Welland blends painting, collage, murals and design through what he calls his Loose Ends language – a bold visual rhythm of fragments, shapes, scribbles and structures.
Andy’s visual language is one of bright playful collages and colliding shapes. A remix of form; his distinctively abstract compositions are created from repurposed off-cuts, thoughts, sound and movement. The work is a celebration of what it is to be human as we navigate and make sense of this chaotic world together.
