Pride of the Birds celebrates Sheffield’s deep connection to nature, wildlife, and its identity as one of the UK’s greenest cities.
Inspired by a community coming together like a pride to protect what they love, the artwork reflects the city’s strong conservation spirit. Featuring some well-loved birds, and elements of the surrounding ancient woodlands, this design symbolises resilience, unity, and the powerful bond between humans and their natural environment.
Can you spot the African bird species found on this lion?
