Artist Sarah Abbott weaves these two concepts together to celebrate the unstoppable cycle of life and the magic of new beginnings, and the quiet determination we all have to bloom no matter what comes our way.
The artist
Sarah Abbott
Sarah Abbott is an illustrator and designer based in Sheffield, whose work is often inspired by the natural world, and more specifically plant life. She creates clean and simple artworks for a variety of clients both locally and overseas, and most recently created new garden maps for Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and illustrated a children’s wildflower book for the National Trust.
Sarah’s work hopes to modernise the way we engage with and view nature, to emphasise its importance and capture distinct features and colours in a way that simplifies the sometimes chaotic world around us.

The REASON
Pride of Yorkshire supports children like Harmony.
Harmony receives treatment from the Respiratory Service at Sheffield Children’s for Bronchiectasis, a rare and lifelong condition, and Tracheomalacia, which causes the windpipe to collapse.
