Inspired by the local community of Swinton, this striking lion cub was created by all the children of Swinton Queen Primary School.
Along Swinston’s back are the school’s vision and values, while its side proudly displays the school logo and surrounds it with local landmarks, including the Swinton Pottery (Rockingham Works) site, and the Bridgewater Canal.
The design is finished in the school colours of black and gold, with every child’s fingerprint decorating the legs and tail.
