From white flowers to represent identity, to blues representing wide-open spaces and the serenity of water, to green representing the preservation of nature. The flag on the back reflects Birley Academy’s identity and uses colours and shapes from the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust.
Together, the colours, design, details and patterns represent the lion cub as a guardian of Yorkshire’s natural world, combining cultural pride with a care for wildlife and the environment.
