Meet the first Pride of Yorkshire champions!

Carol and Andy have become the very first people to complete the Pride of Yorkshire trail by collecting all 300 sculptures across South Yorkshire!

Fired Up by Meadowhead School can be found in the Montgomery Theatre in Sheffield.

What began as a plan to collect just the Sheffield sculptures soon turned into a full-blown trail adventure. They said: “We ended up walking 21km around Sheffield on the first day and collected 135 sculptures. Then we were hooked!”

From there, Carol and Andy planned dedicated trail days across Doncaster and Barnsley, as well as visits to Meadowhall and Crystal Peaks, before celebrating their final sculpture with a well-earned ice cream at Our Cow Molly.

Fun fact: Finding Sweetie Lioness will reward you with a sweet treat at Our Cow Molly.

Along the way, the trail took them to places they had never visited before, including Boston Castle and Grimm & Co in Rotherham.

Although collecting all 300 sculptures was a logistical challenge, Carol and Andy say that only added to the adventure: “It takes a bit of planning, but that all added to the fun of making it a challenge for us!”

Think you’ve got what it takes to collect all 300 sculptures?
